COVID-19 restrictions on dentists prompt warning to ‘step up your oral hygiene’

I hope you are well and doing your part by staying at home, social distancing and washing your hands frequently. Sparkling Dental cares deeply about the wellbeing of our patients, our staff and the community that we live and work in. We have been following the unfolding Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely both in Australia and internationally.

WE ARE ON ADA EMERGENCY DENTIST LIST

Given the Level 3 Restrictions placed on the dental industry to reduce possible aerosol transmission, many practices have been forced to close temporarily.  We are one of the practices on the ADA Registered List for Emergency Dentists.  We are able to carry out Relief of Pain treatment under the guideline using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to protect both patients, clinicians and the general public.

For those with tooth aches, trauma and broken teeth, you will be triaged over the phone before an appointment can be offered by calling (02) 9953 0088

Upon arrival of the practice, you will be asked to disinfect your hands, and new protocol procedures will take place before treatment can be performed.  We thank you for your understanding.
