Professional Teeth Whitening for a brighter smile

Sparkling Dental based in Neutral Bay has a team of passionate Dentists ready to get your the best teeth whitening results Sydney has to offer.

Are your teeth stained or discoloured or do you simply wish to have a whiter and brighter smile?

One of the most common complaints that people have is that their teeth don’t look as white as they would like. Whether it is a natural discolouration or years of staining, the brilliance is robbed from a smile that is not at its whitest.

There are 2 types of teeth-whitening treatments you can do. The best is to be assessed by one of our dentists to see which option is best for you.

In-Chair Whitening

Professional teeth whitening offers the ultimate in options for your smile. This is a one hour procedure where professional strength whitening gel is applied to the tooth surface and the gel is activated for the whitening process to begin. The gel is then washed off and re-applied on a frequent basis.

This gets repeated 2- 3 times during the one hour treatment. You will walk out with a brilliant shine to your smile.

Take-Home Whitening Kit

This is a gentler way of whitening your teeth where we make custom-fitted thin trays for you to take home. We will show you how to apply the take-home strength whitening gel to the trays and you do it yourself at home!

The kit will have everything you need to remove those tough stain off your otherwise white teeth and to maintain them. What’s best, you get to keep the trays for the rest of your life and you can touch up for 45 minutes every few months to keep your teeth bright. Individual refill gel can be bought separately.

Is Teeth Whitening Painful?

With in-chair whitening, some people may experience sensitivity if your teeth are sensitive to the whitening systems in hydrogen peroxide.

Teeth whitening products clear away the enamel on your tooth leaving it less protected to the elements around the tooth.

This can cause an aching sensation during the whitening as well as discomfort when eating or drinking shortly after the procedure is completed.

We will apply treatment to your teeth after the whitening procedure is complete. Doing so reduces sensitivity and provides greater support to your oral health following completion of your treatment. This gives you the best chance of avoiding pain altogether.
