Our Dental Team
At Sparkling Dental, our dental services are provided by Dr Jenny Ling, Dr Rui Dai, Dr Julien Dubost and our hygienist Mrs Mary Frei. Our practitioners work together as part of a team approach to patient care.
Patient Care
Your dentist will explain your treatment options and provide advice tailored to your needs. We understand that some patients may feel anxious about dental visits, and our team can discuss strategies to help make your experience more manageable. Options such as local anaesthesia, sedation (if clinically appropriate) and distraction methods like audiovisual entertainment may be available during certain treatments. Please speak with our team if you would like more information about these options.
Children at Sparkling Dental
Our practice has a dedicated area for children with toys and games available. Parents are welcome to bring their children along to their appointments. Please let our staff know if you need any additional support when attending with young children.
Our Neutral Bay Team
Sparkling Dental has been serving the Neutral Bay community for many years. Our team includes experienced dentists, hygienists and support staff who work together to provide professional dental care in a safe and hygienic environment.
Dr Jenny Ling, BDS (U Syd), Grad Dip Clin Dent (Oral Implants) (U Syd)
Dentist
Dr Jenny graduated from the University of Sydney in 1997 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. After working in private practice, she gained additional experience in the UK before returning to Sydney to establish her first dental practice in 2003. Sparkling Dental is her second private practice.
She has completed a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry in the field of oral implants and regularly undertakes continuing professional development.
Dr Jenny grew up in Sydney. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and has some knowledge of German and Japanese after participating in exchange programs in Germany and Japan.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Jenny enjoys skiing, travelling, cooking and sharing meals with family and friends.

Dr Julien Dubost, BDS Dental Surgeon
Dentist
Dr Julien graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Universidad de los Andes in Chile in 2014. He went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetics in Prosthodontics in 2015 and qualified as a prosthodontist in 2018.
He participates in professional discussions and ongoing education to continue developing his knowledge in the field of dentistry. His clinical interests include prosthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr Julien is fluent in English, French and Spanish. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys fitness, beach activities, meditation, camping and spending time outdoors with friends.

Dr Nidhi Berera, BDSc (Melb) and PGDip Dig. Orth (UK)
Dr Nidhi Berera graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne in 2001. She has worked in private practice for more than 20 years, including running her own practice in Sydney’s inner west.
Dr Berera has undertaken additional training in orthodontics and digital dentistry. She became an Invisalign provider in 2008 and completed a fixed braces course the same year. In 2019, she completed a Digital Smile Design course, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Orthodontics (UK) in 2022.
Her clinical interests include clear aligner therapy and fixed orthodontics. She focuses on providing treatment options that support both function and appearance, depending on each patient’s needs.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Berera enjoys running, participating in triathlons and spending time with her two teenage children.

Mary Frei, BSc RDH
Hygienist
Mary completed her hygiene studies in the United States and has worked in general, cosmetic, and orthodontic practices in Australia, the USA, and Switzerland.
Her role as a dental hygienist focuses on preventive care, including professional cleaning and providing oral hygiene education tailored to each patient’s needs. Mary regularly attends professional development seminars and courses to maintain and update her skills.
