Sparkling Dental Teams Up With Pro Purpose A picture of a group of children smiling in Neutral Bay, NSW.

Sparkling Dental is in proud partner with Pro Purpose as a Profit for Purpose business. This means we intentionally direct a portion of our sales towards charitable impact. We help send kids to school in Uganda by offering children a pathway out of poverty through schooling, 3 meals a day, clean water, resources and teacher support. Together, we are tangibly transforming lives.

Below is a direct testimonial from Dr Jenny Ling owner of Sparkling Dental, of WHY they give to education in Uganda.

"I have decided to give because I want to contribute to making the world a better place by investing in the future of children. I want to help those less fortunate and give back to society. School for Life delivers tangible results and genuinely holds the children's hands throughout their educational years for the long haul."  ~ Dr Jenny Ling, Owner

Our impact and counting... 42 DAYS OF EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS IN UGANDA

Who is School For Life?

School for Life has been built on the joint principles of capacity development and community empowerment. This means we provide a hand-up not a hand-out.

We believe in the transformative impact of education and we aim to provide a high-quality education to those who need it most, so they can develop themselves and change the communities where they live.

OUR MISSION:

We focus on empowering developing communities to become sustainable through quality education and related community activities. Children are at the heart of everything we do.

We:

  • Build and operate schools that are aligned with the needs of the community.

  • Encourage and enable productive and sustainable community-based economic development, to reduce the reliance on hand-outs.

  • Promote and advocate the benefits of investing in education.

Supporting A Drop of Life

Sparkling Dental is proud to support A Drop of Life, an organisation helping provide clean water and improved hygiene facilities to schools in Cambodia.

Through this partnership, we have contributed to several bio-sand filtration projects, including a W.A.S.H. initiative at Hun Sen O’smack School in Oddar Meanchey Province. The project supports 402 students and staff by providing access to safer drinking water, additional handwashing facilities, water-quality testing and practical hygiene education.

The installed filtration system is designed to remove 99.99% of bacteria, helping students access clean drinking water directly at school. The program also teaches important habits such as washing hands with soap, particularly before meals and after using the bathroom.

We are grateful to play a small part in supporting healthier school communities and helping more children access clean water each day.
